Sana Abdul Salam Saudi Gazette RIYADH — After holding a month long fair of their new 2013 product line-up in Jeddah's Red Sea Mall, Samsung electronics is set to continue showcasing its new range of electronics at an unveiling at Granada Mall in Riyadh. The fair will take place from July 24 to August 1. According to Samsung Electronics, one of the most promising features of the new line is the wireless functionality, in which various products can be operated long-distance with handheld Samsung mobile devices via Wi-Fi connectivity. Qusai Mukhtar, Public Relations Manager for Samsung, said: “While encouraging smart living, Samsung products also take good care of a person's health. This type of focus on the consumer and our continuous and relentless efforts that we make to achieve excellence in what we do, have resulted into making us the most preferred consumer electronics brand in KSA, and we have been also ranked as No.1 top buzz on YouGov Brand Index.” To demonstrate this, the fair will showcase the Q9000 air conditioner, which has a built in ‘virus doctor.' This would be in addition to the product being able to connect wirelessly to handheld mobile devices from Samsung. Adnan Matbouli, CEO of United Matbouli Group, added that “extensive global market research clubbed with active research and development is what has helped the brand reach new heights.” Also showcased in the fair will be the ‘cello microwave,' which uses hot air in addition to microwaves to cook food, hence, due to the innovative technology, items like French fries can be cooked with absolutely no oil added.
