Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., a global leader in consumer electronics industry, expanded it's reach and number of showrooms, by welcoming to Jeddah the new “brand shop” which witnessed the opening last Saturday on Prince Sultan St. near Heraa intersection. This comes as part of Samsung's expansion plan to provide the best service to it's customers, where all Samsung IT, audiovisual, hand held phones, digital imaging and home appliance products are showcased under one roof. The opening ceremony was attended by officials from Samsung Electronics and United Matbouli Group, distributor of Samsung Electronics in the Kingdom. The opening is part of Samsung's expansion plan to extend its network of branches around the Kingdom, in order to facilitate the service to its customers. Through this, Samsung Electronics will be able to extend their hand to a wider population, and ease for the consumer the accessibility to Samsung products. Inamullah Butt, marketing and PR Manager, Samsung Electronics, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, said “the initiative to the new showroom on Prince Sultan Street in Jeddah comes within the framework of our continuous hard work for expanding the distribution network while offering the best services to our customers by providing them with all current and upcoming Samsung products across all parts of the Kingdom.” United Matbouli Group, Samsung Electronics distributor in the Kingdom, previously launched a number of showrooms in Olaya and in Riyadh, and Ruwais district in Jeddah, while Ahmed Abdul Wahid showroom at “Panorama Mall” in Riyadh. Samsung Electronics have also planned to soon open doors of a new showroom in Al-Khobar region. Samsung said it had sold 500,000 Galaxy S devices in South Korea since its market debut on June 24. The country's mobile phone market is one of the world's most vibrant, with 45 million users.
