RIYADH — The Riyadh General Court has sentenced a Saudi citizen to five years in prison and 300 lashes for stealing cars and electrical cables. An Indian resident notified the police that his truck was stolen, and police se arch and investigation teams were able to apprehend the offender. Preliminary questioning indicated that he had stolen other cars, and used them for robbing private resorts and warehouses. The case has been referred to the implementation department for their action.
