ITALIAN brand "Fendi Casa" opened its shop in Jeddah at Elegant House Center, its first in Saudi Arabia. The iconic Italian home decor brand Fendi Casa brings new approach to interiors. It has always believed in the philosophy of minimalism. Clean surfaces, sleek lines, classic designs and monochromatic pieces define Fendi Casa. The 23-year-old brand believes in dressing up the room in the same manner as its fashion clients by adding bling, fur and leather. Fendi Casa, formed in 1989, shows elegance, luxury and gorgeous products. Ghassan Asaad, Director General for Al-Bunian Group, exclusive agent of Fendi Casa and Kenzomeson in the Kingdom, said Fendi Casa controls more than 17 percent of the upholstery market in the Kingdom, adding that the fine market for furniture and decorations represents the largest proportion of the Saudi furnishings market. Asaad further said it has a special section for after-sales service for communicating with customers of Fendi Casa and Kenzo Maison. Asaad explained that its products are imported from several countries such as Italy, the United States, France, Spain. He disclosed intention to open another branch of Fendi Casa in Riyadh by the end of 2013, adding that expansion plans are in the pipeline across Saudi Arabia. — SG
