JAZAN — Relatives of a five-year-old child named Abdulmuhsen who was murdered last week in Malqootah village in Abu Areesh governorate buried him shortly after receiving his body, Al-Madinah newspaper reported Thursday. The child's father said Abdulmuhsen was last seen in the family house around midnight and his mother began looking for him when he did not turn up an hour later. Unable to find him, the family notified police around 2.30 a.m. Police found the child's body on the roof of an abandoned building, outside the village. Jazan police spokesman Col. Awadh Al-Qahtani said there are five suspects who have been detained and new details have emerged in the case. He promised to reveal all details once investigations are over. The child's body was handed over to his father and he was buried in the village cemetery.
