Abdullah Al-Yahya Okaz/Saudi Gazette ABHA — A hospital report on the suspicious death of a four-year-old boy has revealed that the victim was hit on his head, abdomen and testicles. An autopsy will be conducted on the body of the boy, identified as Muhammad, by the forensics doctor in Asir province. Investigators are waiting for the results of the autopsy following a death report issued by Ahad Rufaidah hospital, informed sources told Okaz/Saudi Gazette. Muhammad's mother accused the father of killing their son. However, it is also believed that the boy's father and mother are blaming each other for his death. The sources said the case papers are now with Ahad Rufaidah governorate and Muhammad's maternal uncle and mother are being questioned. The boy's sister and father have already been questioned. Investigations took another twist earlier after the girl was accused of killing her brother following a fight between them, but investigators noticed something suspicious in the case. According to recommendations, the case was referred to Asir governorate and Prince Faisal Bin Khaled, Emir of Asir region, issued directives to reopen investigations into the case. In a complaint referred to the governorate, the mother and his maternal uncle demanded reopening the case and an autopsy on Muhammad's body. The mother demanded that she and her family be protected from the boy's father. Meanwhile, the mother's brothers had demanded that all those responsible for Muhammad's death, directly and indirectly, be prosecuted. The uncles said the father was acquitted of several cases against him involving the boy. It was confirmed that violence was used by unidentified family members against the boy twice before he was killed. Awad Al-Saeed, spokesman for Asir governorate, said a member of Muhammad's family reported his death. His sister was initially accused of killing him by strangling him with a rope because he had allegedly destroyed her school stationery. He said the police authorities investigated this claim and the boy's body was kept in the morgue. It was noticed that there were bruises on the body and marks indicating he was beaten. He said the case papers referred to the governorate by local authorities indicated there the father was really quick to bury the boy's body. Prince Faisal then issued directives to refer the papers to the Bureau of Investigation and Prosecution (BIP) so an autopsy on the body could be conducted and further investigations carried out.
