Nadia Al-Fawwaz Okaz/Saudi Gazette ABHA — More than 70 members of the Bani Wahb tribes gathered at Asir governorate to complain about a sewage project at the village of Al-Batnah in Khaibar Al-Janoub Governorate. One of the protestors said they were asking for the sewage pipes to be diverted to desert areas and away from the village. He said they have submitted a complaint to the minister of water and a committee from the Ministry of Interior was formed to inspect the location. The protestor claimed that the committee had recommended altering the path of the pipes. He said a request would be submitted to the Emir of Asir Province asking for the project to be diverted away from their houses and farms.
