ABHA — Asir Health Affairs inspectors have shut down 14 health facilities including polyclinics and hospital in the private sector and fined them a total of SR395,000 over the past three months, said Asir Health Affairs Director Dr. Ibrahim Al-Hafzi. He added that over 19 inspection visits were made over the last three months. Violations included employing staff without proper medical licenses, poor methods of disposal and sterilization and shortages of medical staff.
