IU TMC-Jeddah is the first ever Urdu Toastmasters Club chartered on April 11, 2012 as a member club with the Toastmasters Internationals-California, US. The clubs earlier president TM Abdul Sami's term ends on June 30, and it will be taken over by the club's new president TM Mukkarum Hussain for this year. This club bagged the winner and runner-up award at the International Speech segment of the Division H contest held on March 7. The winner's award was taken by TM Farhan Malik, and the runner-up award was taken by TM Mukkarum Hussain. The winner, Malik, participated in the District-79 International Speech Preliminary Contests held on April 11 in Hotel Sheraton, Dammam. The club holds its meeting twice every month with its 26 enrolled members on its charter list.
