RIYADH — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah has approved the recommendations of a ministerial committee to give permanent jobs to substitute female teachers in the Ministry of Education within a maximum three years starting from the 2013/2014 fiscal year. The committee was formed of representatives of the ministries of finance, civil service and education, which had the objective of how to benefit from the experience of the substitute teachers with whom contracts had been signed earlier to work at general education schools in place of female teachers who took their vacations for various reasons. The substitute teachers have to be appointed in educational or administrative jobs within a maximum three years beginning in the coming fiscal year 2013/2014. Prince Faisal Bin Abdullah, minister of education, expressed thanks and appreciation to King Abdullah for the royal approval and congratulated the substitute teachers. — SG/SPA
