RIYADH — Twelve female students of a private school in Riyadh's Al-Muhamadiya neighborhood fainted after an air-conditioner shorted and caused a fire. The students had panic attacks and lost consciousness. They were provided with first aid on site. There was no need to transport them to hospital, according to Riyadh Red Crescent spokesman Saeed Al-Ghamdi. Rescuers evacuated the school while firefighters controlled the fire in a short time.
