700 schoolgirls evacuated after fire

ABHA — The Civil Defense evacuated 700 intermediate girl students due to a fire at their school in Al-Majardah, Asir province. Three Civil Defense teams dealt with the fire. Red Crescent teams treated seven students for panic. The fire was caused by a fault in the main electricity supply. The principal evacuated students when the fire alarm went off. Civil Defense teams attended the school and discovered that the alarm went off due to an electricity short circuit.
