YANBU — The Border Guard evacuated four people who were injured in a fire on board the Saudi ship “Asir”. The fire started in the ship's engine room while the vessel was 100 nautical miles north of Yanbu, carrying 33 people on its way from Port Said in Egypt to Jeddah Islamic Port. Saudi Ports Authority spokesman Musaed Alderees said the fire was brought under control by the ship's crew. The authority dispatched tugboats to tow the crippled ship to Jeddah port.
