Border Guard vessels rescued Wednesday the crew of a Turkish cargo ship that sank in the Red Sea off the coast of Jizan. A Border Guard spokesman in Riyadh said the Turkish flagged “Asra–C” vessel, which left the Turkish port of Jolok destined for UAE with a crew of 17 and a cargo of aluminum ore, aluminum silicate and feldspar, suffered an engine fault around 100 nautical miles off the Jizan coast.
