Okaz/Saudi Gazette KHURMA/HAIL – Three children from the same family drowned in a swamp located in Al-Ghareef in Al-Khurma governorate. Citizens were able to recover the bodies of two boys, aged 9 and 12, and their female cousin, aged 14, before the arrival of Civil Defense rescue teams. In another development, the Civil Defense in Hail region recovered on Thursday afternoon the body of Abdullah Al-Enizi, 21, in Wadi Al-Adeira lake after an 11-day search in the nearly 60-km-long body of water. Al-Enizi's family said he had gone missing nearly two weeks ago while attempting to rescue two youths who had become stranded in the valley following heavy rains. Civil Defense personnel began combing the entire valley by air and land. Specialist divers from the Civil Defense Training Center participated in the search efforts. Authorities believe Al-Enizi, a student who worked at a local mall in the evenings, entered the valley as part of a citizen-initiated rescue operation and was swept away by flood waters.
