JEDDAH — Event Plus Company recently organized a five-day "Spring Bazaar" for ladies at Gold's Gym. The bazaar, which featured around 40 stalls, was one-stop shopping destination for ladies of various nationalities who came in droves to the bazaar. A large variety of items from clothes to accessories were on display. Logaine Abo-Amer, a jewellery designer who specializes in making gold-and-silver-plated jewels, was excited to be part of the bazaar, and attracted teens and young ladies. S.Alkade and Gofhran, stall owners from Makkah, sold attractive scarves and pearl-embellished clothes and antiques, easy to carry praying mats, purses, tissue box holders, watches and bangles. Suzan's stall had soft toys, gift items, chocolates, and decorative items. She has been part of many bazaars in the last seven years. Hanoof, whose stall had numerous ladies' accessories, said that her Abayas are designed and made with light and different colors with matching handbags, mobile cases, wallets and varied stuff. Other ladies who put up stalls at the bazaar selling a variety of items were Fatima, beauty products from Babaria Company; Sameera, teen accessories; Daniya, attractive abayas; Managing Director of Gorgeous Co Afnan Zoghbi, dresses, casuals and Night wears; Khariya, abayas, jalabiyas, purses and bangles; TabAteek, ladies wear; Anjum, bridal jewellery; Umm Hani from Palestine had unique dresses, jalabiyas with calligraphic prints from the US along with accessories. Madam Fouz, a professional chef and an expert in catering, sold mouth-watering varieties of pickles, pastas, dry fruit delicacies among others. The bazaar was the brain child of Rania and Mohammed who made sure it was a success. — SG
