JEDDAH — The India Fraternity Forum (IFF) organized a career guidance program in association with ACCESS India, in which speakers from various professions and faculties shared valuable information on different courses and career prospects with a large group of students. Mohammed Raghib Qureshi, Head of Chancery & Consul Education, Consulate General of IndiaJeddah, who inaugurated the function, advised students to make use of the various professional courses available in India and simultaneously develop their career and future of the nation. ACCESS facilitator Ismail Hasan Panavally of Prince Salman University explained the importance of setting goals and choosing the right career that meets their skills and interests. With multimedia presentation, he elucidated the details of various courses offered under various universities in India. Guest of Honor Mohammed Noor Rahman Sheikh, deputy consul general and consul Haj explained the scope of Indian Civil Services and the preparation required for appearing for the civil service examination by narrating simple anecdotes. The professionals interacted with the students in the “Open Session” and clarified their queries. The team included Dr. Padma Hariharan, principal of Novel International school; Rahmatullah, principal of Al Wurood International School; Prof. Wazeer Akhtar, secretary of Indian Educational Council; K V Hariharan, IIM graduate; Adv. Asadullah Badsha, legal adviser; Salman Safar, IT manager; Sanal Nair, bank manager; Sweta Hariharan, foreign service graduate from Georgetown University; and Srikant, chartered accountant and teacher. IFF also organized a Karate session that was demonstrated by Ishaaq (Black Belt 6th Dan) and team. He emphasized the importance of self defense and inspired the students to learn martial arts. ACCESS executive council members Yaseen Askari, Eng. Naser Khurshid, Nazeer, Ishaq, Yahya Shavezz, Mohammed Abdulla, and IFF office bearers Ashraf Morayur, president,IFF; Mohtisham Habeebullah, president,IFF Delhi; and Iqbal, secretary, IFF facilitated a smooth conduct of both the sessions. President IFF Tamil Chapter AlAman Ahmed welcomed the gathering and ACCESS executive council member and program group coordinator Ayoob Hakeem anchored the event.
