RIYADH — Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim made an official visit to the Muslim World League (MWL) office in Riyadh. During his visit, Prime Minister Ibrahim engaged in crucial discussions with MWL's Secretary-General and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Al-Issa. The focal point of their meeting was the announcement of key dates for two pivotal events — the inaugural session of the Council of Southeast Asian Scholars and the Summit of World Religions Leaders. These landmark gatherings are slated to take place in Kuala Lumpur and are anticipated to witness the launch of various initiatives aimed at fostering awareness among youths and advocating for coexistence in the ASEAN region and beyond. The Council of Southeast Asian Scholars is poised to become a platform for intellectual discourse and collaboration among scholars from the region. Meanwhile, the Summit of World Religions Leaders is expected to bring together prominent figures to address global issues and promote interfaith dialogue.
