Chennai downs Kolkata by 14 runs

NEW DELHI — Chennai Super Kings defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by 14 runs in a T20 IPL match Sunday.
Michael Hussey smashed a quick-fire 95 to help Chennai Super Kings post a formidable 200-3 against Kolkata Knight Riders.
Hussey scored his 95 off just 59 balls with 11 fours and two sixes.
Chasing 201, Kolkata got off to a flier scoring 18 runs off the first over bowled by Dirk Nannes, but could not keep the momentum. Gautam Gambhir (14), Jacques Kallis (19) and Manvinder Bisla (92) were among the runs for Knight Riders.
Scores: Chennai Super Kings 200 for 3 (Michael Hussey 95, Rajat Bhatia 1-31) defeated Kolkata Knight Riders 186 for 4 (Manvinder Bisla 92, Mohit Sharma 1-23) by 14 runs.
Mumbai beats Bangalore
Mumbai Indians beat Royal Challengers Bangalore by 58 runs Saturday.
Mumbai electing to bat first, posted a mammoth score of 194-7 with Dwayne Smith scoring 50 off 36 balls. In reply, Royal Challengers could manage only 136-7.
Scores: Mumbai Indians 194 for 7 (Dwayne Smith 50, Ravi Rampaul 1-35) defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore 136 for 7 (Vinay Kumar 26*, Dhawal Kulkarni 3-19) by 58 runs. — Agencies
