The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen (SPDRY), has created education opportunities for tens of thousands of male and female Yemeni students across the country. This is in addition to providing direct and indirect job opportunities in the education sector and building an ideal education environment through several high-quality projects. Considering education as the key to development, SPDRY has paid special attention to the education sector through 52 projects and development initiatives that provide an encouraging and comprehensive education environment. This includes the establishment of 27 ideal school and talented youth centers; building, rehabilitating, and equipping universities and schools; and printing and distributing more than one million schoolbooks to students across Yemen. Placing the needs of the people with disabilities at the center of its work, the education projects implemented by SPDRY are all accessible to people with disabilities with the highest standards to ensure a suitable education environment for this precious segment, which can improve their skills and talents and enhance their engagement in the society. SPDRY has implemented a total of 224 projects and development initiatives in various Yemeni governorates covering seven major sectors: education, health, water, energy, transport, agriculture and fishery, and capacity building for government institutions and development programs. — SPA
