The Cabinet, chaired by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman on Tuesday afternoon at Al-Salam Palace here, approved the state to incur the costs of e-services — related to the e-visas service platform at the Ministry of Interior — for issuing an entry visa to Saudi Arabia for holders of fan tickets (Hayya card) of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. A Hayya card (fan ID) is a personalized document that is issued and required by every single person attending any of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 matches. The Cabinet also touched upon the outcomes of the 33rd OPEC and non-OPEC ministerial meeting, noting the pivotal role played by OPEC+ group in achieving balance and stability in the global oil markets, thus supporting the global economy. It also approved a memorandum of understanding between the Saudi Arabia Financial Investigation Unit at the Presidency of the State Security in Saudi Arabia and the Money Laundering Combating Unit (MLCU) in Egypt regarding cooperation on exchanging financial investigation related to money laundering and crimes related to money laundering and financing extremism. At the outset of the session, the Cabinet was briefed on the content of the two letters received by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince from the President of the Republic of Korea, which talked about the bilateral relations that ties the two countries and ways to support and enhance them in various fields. The Cabinet reviewed the recent talks and meetings that took place between officials in Saudi Arabia and their counterparts in a number of countries, with the aim of strengthening bonds of cooperation and taking them to higher levels in a manner that serves common interests and enhances bilateral and multilateral coordination in responding to global issues and challenges. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Acting Minister of Media Dr. Majed Al-Qasabi said that the Cabinet stated that Riyadh's hosting of a regional office of Airports Council International Asia-Pacific reflects Saudi Arabia's progress in the aviation sector globally in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 concerning attracting international companies and organizations to establish their headquarters in Saudi Arabia. The Cabinet also authorized the Minister of Foreign Affairs to hold talks with the Japanese side regarding a draft memorandum of understanding on establishing a strategic dialogue between the ministries of foreign affairs in Saudi Arabia and Japan. It authorized the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance to hold talks with Niger's side regarding a draft memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance in Saudi Arabia and Niger's Ministry of Interior, Public Safety and Decentralization in the Islamic affairs field. It authorized the Minister of Tourism to hold talks with the Kuwaiti side regarding a draft memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Tourism in Saudi Arabia and the Ministry of Information and Culture in Kuwait for cooperation in the tourism sector. The Cabinet authorized the Minister of Media and Chairman of the General Commission for Audiovisual Media to hold talks with the Iraqi side regarding a draft memorandum of understanding between the General Commission for Audiovisual Media in Saudi Arabia and the National Communications and Media Commission in Iraq. — SPA
