The Cabinet, chaired by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman at Al-Salam Palace on Tuesday afternoon, reiterated Saudi Arabia's support for the Palestinian people and its constant demand for the international community to assume its responsibilities to stop the repeated attacks and violations by the Israeli occupation forces and exert all efforts to end this long-running conflict. The Cabinet touched upon the outcomes of 31st OPEC and non-OPEC Ministerial Meeting that include a decision to adjust the production level for the month of September 2022 and reiterating the critical importance of adhering to full conformity. The Cabinet stated that the stability and balance of the oil market represent one of the pillars of Saudi Arabia's energy strategy, since oil an important element in supporting the growth of the global economy, where this is reflected in its pivotal role in establishing and maintaining the OPEC+ agreement, due to its initiatives to accelerate the stability of markets and the sustainability of its supplies. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Minister of State, Cabinet's Member for Shoura Council Affairs and Acting Minister of Media Dr. Essam Bin Saeed said that the Cabinet stressed Saudi Arabia's firm position and support for everything that guarantees the security and stability of the Republic of Yemen and achieves the aspirations of the Yemeni people. The Cabinet also affirmed the Kingdom's appreciation for the United Nations' efforts to enhance commitment to the truce, in line with the Kingdom's initiative announced in March 2021 to end the crisis in Yemen and reach a comprehensive political solution. The Cabinet underlined Saudi Arabia's assertion during the Tenth Review Conference of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) of its support for international efforts aimed at preventing Iran from possessing nuclear weapons, as well as the importance of the role of the United Nations General Assembly in calling on non-party states to accede to the Treaty, and placing all their nuclear facilities under the comprehensive safeguards system of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). At the outset of the session, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques briefed the Cabinet on the content of the letter he received from the president of the Republic of Zambia, concerning the relations and ways to strengthen them between the two countries. The Cabinet expressed hope that the Riyadh International Humanitarian Forum, organized by King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) in partnership with the United Nations and its organizations next February, would contribute to finding innovative practical solutions that help provide humanitarian work according to the highest standards adopted to achieve the sustainable development goals. The Cabinet authorized the Chairman of Saudi Authority for Data and Artificial Intelligence to hold talks with the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the International Development Association regarding a draft administrative agreement between Saudi Arabia, represented by the Saudi Authority for Data and Artificial Intelligence, and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the International Development Association on the multi-donor credit fund for digital development partnership, sign it and refer the final signed copy to proceed with formal procedures. It authorized the Minister of Energy to hold talks with the Thai side regarding a draft cooperation agreement between the governments of Saudi Arabia and Thailand in the energy field It also authorized the Minister of Tourism to hold talks with the Thai side regarding a draft memorandum of understanding in the tourism field between the Ministry of Tourism in Saudi Arabia and the Ministry of Tourism and Sports in Thailand. It approved a memorandum of understanding regarding cooperation in the labor field between the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development in Saudi Arabia and the Azeri Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population. It also approved two memorandums of understanding in the fields of railway transport and transport future, and innovation in the transport and logistics services sector between the Ministry of Transport and Logistic Services in Saudi Arabia and the French Ministry of Ecological Transition, which is in charge of the transport sector. The Cabinet approved a memorandum of understanding between the General Authority for Statistics in Saudi Arabia and the Office of National Statistics in the UK for cooperation in the statistics field. — SPA
