The Ministry of Investment will organize the Saudi-Kazakh Investment Forum Sunday in Jeddah, in the presence of Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Minister of Investment Eng. Khalid Bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih, and a number of government agencies and private sector officials from the two countries. The forum's activities include dialogue sessions to discuss the most promising investment sectors between the two countries in the fields of petrochemicals, renewable energy, water desalination, mining, and food security. This is in addition to reviewing the most prominent developments in the business environment in the Kingdom and major projects related to the Kingdom's Vision 2030. The forum will include the signing of a number of agreements and memoranda of understanding between the two sides in a number of investment fields. Bilateral meetings will also be held between representatives of the private sector from both sides to discuss opportunities for cooperation and partnership and investment opportunities available to investors in the Kingdom and Kazakhstan. It is noteworthy that the forum comes within the framework of the visit of the president of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Kingdom aiming at strengthening cooperation in the economic and investment fields of common interest.
