Minister of Investment Eng. Khalid Bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih headed a delegation of government officials and public sector representatives on an official visit to Kazakhstan, during which he met President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Prime Minister Askar Mamin as the two sides discussed bilateral ties and joint cooperation and means to enhance economic and investment relations. The delegation held meetings with government officials and representatives of major Kazakh companies, including agriculture, mining, and minerals, oil and gas, communications and information technologies, space, tourism, and construction. The visit aims to enhance mutual economic and development relations between the two countries, by taking full advantage of the opportunities offered by the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and presenting these unparalleled opportunities to Kazakh investors, and through the contribution of Saudi business sectors to the economic developments in Kazakhstan. Eng. Al-Falih, while taking part in the 5th meeting of the Saudi-Kazakhstan Joint Committee, stressed the importance of promoting mutual and joint investments in the two countries and taking advantage of the available opportunities, especially as the Kingdom's economy opens at an unprecedented pace and scope within the framework of Vision 2030. During the visit, Eng. Al-Falih will attend the signing of an MOU between the National Companies Entrepreneurship Program of the Ministry of Investment and Kazakhstan Invest. — SPA
