Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Saudi Arabia's Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Indonesian Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi in Jakarta on Tuesday during an official visit to Indonesia. During an official discussion session, they stressed the deep-rooted relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Indonesia and both countries' keenness to enhance and develop them in various fields in a way that realizes joint interests of the two brotherly peoples. The meeting went over means to further consolidate economic partnership between the two countries in light of the Saudi Vision 2030, intensify cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Indonesia in the political and economic fields, enhance coordination on regional and international issues of joint interest, and support all efforts aimed at enhancing international peace and security. Prince Faisal expressed his appreciation for Indonesia for supporting Saudi Arabia's bid to host Expo 2030, voicing Saudi Arabia's wishes of success for Indonesia in hosting the G20 summit. Marsudi praised the Saudi decision to lift the travel ban on its citizens to Indonesia. Saudi Ambassador to Indonesia Issam Al-Thaqafi and Director General of the Foreign Minister's office Abdulrahman Al-Dawood attended the discussion session. — SPA
