Adel bin Ahmad Al-Jubeir, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, met here today with Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi. During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Indonesia and ways of enhancing them in various fields. They also discussed issues of common interest and the latest developments at regional and international arenas. The meeting was attended by a number of officials. Meanwhile, Adel bin Ahmad Al-Jubeir, Minister of Foreign Affairs, chaired the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's delegation to the meeting of the 10th Saudi-Indonesian Joint Ministerial Committee held in Jakarta. The Indonesian side was headed by Indonesia's Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi. The two sides reviewed bilateral relations and means of enhancing cooperation between the two friendly countries. The minutes of the 10th session of the committee was signed. Following the meeting, Al-Jubeir held a press conference with his Indonesian counterpart where he affirmed a depth of relations between the Kingdom and Indonesia. Al-Jubeir stressed that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud paid a great attention to the regrettable incident of Jamal Khashoggi's death, adding "when the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques learned of the case of the citizen Jamal Khashoggi, he communicated with the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques ordered to send a Saudi team to Turkey to investigate the case and clarify the truth of what happened." He asserted that King Salman directed the Attorney General to investigate this case 10 days ago to reveal the circumstances and know what happened. Minister Al-Jubeir affirmed that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Vice President of the Council of Ministers, and Minister of Defense, are following the case of the citizen Jamal Khashoggi and are keen to uncover all facts pertaining to hold all those involved accountable.
