Chairman of the Federation of Saudi Chambers (FSC) Ajlan Al-Ajlan met with Albanian Minister of Finance and Economy Dr. Delina Ibrahimaj and her accompanying delegation at the headquarters of FSC in Riyadh. During the meeting, the two sides discussed means to enhance economic, commercial and investment cooperation between the two sides. Al-Ajlan noted the Saudi-Albanian commercial relations were affected by the global health crisis that hit the commercial movement. He pointed out that 2021 witnessed a remarkable increase of 279% in the volume of commerce between the two countries. He also expressed hope to realize a similar upsurge in several fields and opening investment aspects between the two sides, especially that this increase is considered an opportunity to acquaint the Albanian side on the investment opportunities in Saudi Arabia and cooperation mechanisms to enhance joint investment opportunities in both countries. Al-Ajlan said bilateral cooperation is boosted by strong political and economic ties, noting that the fields of agriculture, energy and tourism account for major attention by the businesspeople in the two countries. He invited Albanian businesspeople to visit Saudi Arabia to check on the mega projects that are being constructed in the country on the ground.
