MUSCAT — Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, arrived in the Sultanate of Oman on Monday on an official visit. Oman's Sultan Haitham bin Tariq led the welcoming party for the Crown Prince. When the jet of Prince Muhammad bin Salman touched ground at the Royal Airport, the Sultan met the Royal guest at the foot of the ramp, welcoming him and wishing him and his official delegation a pleasant stay in Oman. Along with Oman's Sultan, Prince Muhammad bin Salman was received by Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, Gen Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nu'mani, Minister of the Royal Office, Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Minister of Interior (Head of the Mission of Honour), Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, Sayyid Faisal bin Turki Al Said, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the KSA and Abdullah bin Saud Al Anazi, the Saudi Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman. Then, Crown Prince and Oman's Sultan headed to the main vehicle of the motorcade which, flanked by two rows of the Royal Guards of Oman, proceeded to Al Alam Palace. The Crown Prince is accompanied during his visit to the Sultanate of Oman by an official delegation comprising Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, Minister of Energy, Prince Turki bin Mohammad bin Fahd, Minister of State, Member of the Council of Ministers, Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal, Minister of Sports, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif, Minister of Interior, Prince Abdullah bin Bandar, Minister of the National Guard, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, Foreign Minister, Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, Minister of Culture, Dr. Musaed Al Aiban, Minister of State, Member of the Council of Ministers, Dr. Majid Al Qasabi, Minister of Commerce and acting Minister of Media. The visit will be an opportunity to explore various areas of interest to the two countries and their peoples' aspiration for further progress and prosperity.
