RIYADH — Yemen's President Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi met on Tuesday with Saudi Arabia's Deputy Defense Minister Prince Khalid Bin Salman. During the meeting, Prince Khalid conveyed the greetings of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman to the Yemeni president and their wishes of good health for him and more progress and stability for the Yemeni people and their legitimate government. They reviewed Saudi Arabia's efforts and initiatives aimed at achieving security, stability and peace in Yemen, the Saudi Press Agency reported. In the meeting, Prince Khalid highlighted the strong ties that bind the two governments and people of the two countries and the Kingdom's initiatives and stances toward Yemen are based on these ties. Taking to Twitter after the meeting, Prince Khalid said that he discussed the latest developments in Yemen with President Hadi. He expressed the Kingdom's firm position in support of the Yemeni people and their legitimate government, and efforts to reach a comprehensive political solution to end the crisis and achieve security and stability in Yemen, Prince Khalid said in the tweet.
