Yes to Palestine... but no to these
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 21 - 05 - 2021

In order not to forget, I'll reiterate that the beginning of the current crisis in Palestine was on May 3, in Jerusalem's Sheikh Jarrah District. The Palestinian stance, supported by the Arab, Islamic, and even the international stand, was good. Meanwhile, Israel's stance was under moral, political, and media pressure.
A just cause in which there was injustice by the Israeli settlers and government towards the Jerusalem families. It was an ideal moment for creating a positive wave in favor of the Palestinian people and forming an Arab-Islamic-international current, with the starting point from the just cause in Sheikh Jarrah District.
However, several days after May 3, "Hamas" entered Jerusalem and Gaza, along with some Palestinian factions, plus their weapons and missiles, among others. It was as if the missiles belonging to Gaza and "Hamas" were an equal match to the gigantic Israeli firepower and air force.
The strength of the Palestinian stance specifically in the recent Sheikh Al-Jarrah District case was derived from an excellent moral, legal and political force. However, as is always the case, matters went loose and out of control due to the "brave fighters" from "Hamas".
Anyway, there were no doubts about the stances supporting the Palestinian right, whether in the Arab and Islamic arenas or internationally. The last among these were the stances of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in its recent statements rejecting the Israeli encroachments on Jerusalem and other places.
The same applies to the stands taken by Egypt, Saudi Arabia and other countries, which took honorable stances and there is no need to overbid about them by the followers of the Khomeini regime, the Muslim Brotherhood and "Hamas" movement.
As to the "Hamas" movement, it combined between loyalty to the Muslim Brotherhood and loyalty to the Khomeini regime and taking the side of the enemies of the Arabs, especially the explicit affiliation to the Iranian "Revolutionary Guard".
It is sufficient to recall Hamas' support for the Houthis in Yemen, Qassim Sulaimani, and the terrorists of Egypt.
The Palestinian ambassador to Egypt and its permanent delegate to the Arab League Diyab Al-Loh spoke about the issuance of a decision by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and the Egyptian pertinent authorities for the Egyptian hospitals to admit the Palestinian wounded.
He expressed the gratitude of the Palestinian authorities to Cairo. This is Cairo's policy and stance at crucial times and during Palestinian ordeals.
As to the side that is breastfeeding from the Palestinian cause politically and those who are overzealous at the popular level, they have remained silent.
None, including the Iranian Al-Quds Brigades (Failaq Al-Quds), the Iraqi Al-Hashd sectarian militia, the Houthi militias in Yemen, of course, the Lebanese Hezbollah, and the brave fighters of the Muslim Brotherhood in Kuwait, will militarily invade Tel Aviv, Haifa, and Naharia.
Take a look at this example. Speaking to Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper, a political source said that the situation in South Lebanon would remain under control because there is no interest for Hezbollah in that (changing the status quo?). As to the form of Lebanese "revolutionary" support, according to the source, it is still within the limits of symbolism, through the participation of several Leftist parties and groups.

As to those who have a live conscience, leave alone whether you are an Arab or a Muslim having a feeling of special affiliation to Palestine, you must show solidarity in support of the Palestinians' grievance.
However, this does not mean supporting the program of "Hamas" and similar formations backing Iran and the Muslim Brotherhood, but are hostile to the Arabs.
I am not talking about the Arabs of Iran, but support for Palestine and not for "Hamas" and similar pro-Iran movements. The Palestinian will continue to be an Arab cause, despite the suspicious clamor by some.
