RIYADH — Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Interior has recorded a total of 12,855 violations of coronavirus precautionary measures and preventive protocols in a week, starting from Nov. 22 to Nov. 28 in all regions of the Kingdom, according to the statistical figures published by the ministry. The Makkah region registered the highest number of violations with 3,290 cases, followed by the Al-Qassim region with 1980 cases. The violations in other regions are the following: Riyadh (1,956), Madinah (1,609), the Eastern Province (1,114), Hail (501), Northern Border region (470), Al-Jouf (432), Tabuk (400), Asir (393), Al-Baha (271), Najran (257), and Jazan (182), the Saudi Press Agency reported. The ministry emphasized that citizens and expatriates must continue to adhere to the preventive protocols and adhere to the instructions issued by the concerned authorities in this regard.
