Saudi Arabia has been able to make unprecedented achievements in a short span of time, said Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman in his address to the Shoura Council on Thursday. The crown prince said the government is working hard to double the size of the Saudi economy and diversify it away from dependence on oil. He said that Saudi Arabia has made exponential growth in the past three years and expressed his optimism that the growth will pick up the pace once the coronavirus pandemic ends. Saudi Arabia has one of the largest and most important economies in the world and the recent labor reform measures undertaken by the government will attract value-added employees, the crown prince said. He added that Saudi Arabia is keen to address unemployment. Government programs and policies will reduce unemployment before 2030, increasing employment rates is a priority. The crown prince also said that corruption spread in the Kingdom over the past decades like cancer but the anti-graft campaign has been able to recover SR247 billion within 3 years. — Developing
