On behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, Riyadh Governor Prince Faisal Bin Bandar inaugurated here on Sunday the 1st Global Conference for Giftedness and Creativity "Imagine the Future" on the sidelines of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's presidency of the Group of Twenty (G20). The conference is organized by King Abdulaziz and his Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba) and the G20 Saudi Secretariat. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques had directed the staging of this event every two years. The conference comes within the International Conference Program, honoring the G20 Saudi Presidency year 2020. The conference attracts international, regional and national speakers from scientists, future advisors and decision makers to provide keynotes, and discussion sessions. The conference also includes "Mawhiba Virtual World" science exhibition. Aramco and SABIC, are the conference strategic knowledge partners, who have a long history of supporting and nurturing the gifted and creative youth. The conference's objectives aim to promote global trends in developing talented and creative youth to shape new future horizons, to emphasize the ability of gifted and creative individuals who will create the virtual world and employ it efficiently and to anticipate the future of virtual reality and its impact on human development. This event also seeks to expand international collaboration with effective partnerships to develop talented, creative and innovative young potentials to meet global challenges.
