JUBAIL: The National Research Center for Giftedness and Creativity is holding a four-day conference with the International Research Association for Talent Development and Excellence (IRATDE) and the King Abdul Aziz and His Companions Foundation for the Gifted (Mawhiba) on Oct. 10 this year with 150 academics invited from around the world. Abdullah Al-Jughaiman, Manager of the National Research Center for Giftedness and Creativity and Dean of the King Faisal Research Institute at King Faisal University, said that the Jubail Royal Commission and the National Center for Assessment in Higher Education (Qiyas) would take part, in addition to the General Administration of Education in the Eastern Province. Al-Jughaiman said the event would have representatives from “societies and organizations from all over the world”. “The conference is one of the biggest of its type and helps in professional, scientific and cultural development in the area of talent and excellence and the development of thought for those interested and specialist academics and staff from the education sector, as well as parents through promoting the culture of nurturing talent, excellence and creativity,” he said.
