RIYADH — The Human Resources Development Fund (Hadaf) has said private sector enterprises registered more than 51,000 citizens in the "employment subsidy" initiative. The program was launched to support the monthly salaries of Saudis working in the private sector by up to 50 percent over the course of two years, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said in a report on Monday. The initiative supports all jobs, professions and economic sectors. All enterprises can support the salaries of Saudi employees who have been on their payrolls since July 1, 2019. The initiative also extends to new workers. The support ranges between 30 and 50 percent of the employee's monthly salary over two years. An additional 10 percent is allocated to enterprises recruiting women or disabled persons. It also includes new and future employment provided that the subsidized employee wages range between SR4,000and SR15,000. Private sector enterprises can register in the program online through its page on the National Labor Gateway (TAQAT): https://www.taqat.sa/web/guestemployer/employment-subsidy-program.
