JEDDAH — The Saudi Cricket Center (SCC) organized the U-19 Inter-School Cricket Tournament with the support of Western Province Cricket Association (WPCA) under the Saudi Cricket Strategic Plan and ongoing Youth Development Program. Eight teams participated in this tournament played at WPCA grounds, and the prize distribution of the event was held recently. Nadeem Nadwi, chief executive officer SCC) was chief guest, with Mohammed Iftekhar Hussain, management advisor, SCC, and guest of honor Saleh Al Omri too attending. Nadwi expressed his gratitude towards all the schools who participated in this tournament, and also thanked the volunteers and players for making this sports award ceremony happen at such a grand level. He presented the winning trophy to PISJ (Azizia), runners-up trophy to IIJS White and the trophy for the 3rd position awarded to PISJ (Azizia – White). Saleh Al- Omri presented the following prizes: Man of the match for final: Azhar PISJ Urdu section 128 runs off 56 balls. Best Bowler: Atif Khan PISJ ES 9 wickets 47 runs. Iftekhar Hussain presented the following prizes: Batsman with maximum runs: Saad PISJ (Azizia) 234 runs. Player of the tournament: Khalid Wasim IISJ Green 262 runs and 9 wickets. Participation Shields were presented to all schools as a token of appreciation by Sadiqul Islam and Rahat Chaudhry.
