SAKAKA — At least 13 people were killed and several others injured in a single day in road accidents in different parts of the country. Four people were killed and 34 others injured when the bus carrying them overturned on Arar-Sakaka Road. A spokesman for the Northern Borders Red Crescent said 18 rescue teams attended the accident. The dead and injured were of various nationalities. Some of the injured were in serious condition. Meanwhile, a head-on collision on Tabuk-Haql Road claimed five lives. Spokesman for Tabuk Civil Defense Col. Mamdouh Al-Enezi said the impact caused one car to catch fire and bodies had to be extracted from the burning wreck. In yet another accident on the Riyadh-Dammam Road four people were killed and a child sustained serious injury. Eastern Province Red Crescent spokesman Fahd Al-Ghamdi said a man, two women and a child were killed in the accident.
