RIYADH — The Mediation Promotion Program of the Saudi Ministry of Justice (MoJ) organized its first quarterly forum of "mediation change ambassadors." The event was attended by the nominees and court staff. "The forum is part of the ministry's push for improving the judicial services offered through several initiatives, including the Initiative for Activating the Mediation System," said the ministry. "Among the ministry's projects for the NTP 2020, the initiative aims at making mediation the preferred option for settling disputes through the mediation offices available in various Saudi courts." "Attended by 21 ambassadors of change, the forum is a product of the Mediation Promotion Program, which will include several initiatives for promoting reconciliation in the community," the ministry added. "The ambassadors of change were nominated by the Mediation Center to disseminate the concept of mediation among court staff and clients," pointed out the ministry. The forum showcased the Initiative for Activating the Mediation System and the results of mediation promotion activities, as well as a presentation of the road map for change management.
