Ashik Kottilingal picks 7 for 31 in Western Union T20 event

RIYADH — Ashik Kottilingal of Royce White Star picked up 7 for 31 in ongoing Western Union T20 to lead his side to victory over Challengers. Western Union T20 is being organized by Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA).
Huraymala League: AR Sports Blues cruised to victory over Riyadh Zalmi by 3 wickets. Zalmi totaled 154. Shoaib and Tousif resisted with 36 and 22 respectively. Nadeem snared 3 and Hameed took 2 wickets. Amir 41 and Asim 30 took AR to victory in 18.1 overs. Tousif got 4 while Sohail took 2 wickets.
Kohsar Blues was knocked down by Nizamabad United. Kohsar was bowled out for meager 138. Saqib smashed 50 and Qayum scored 25. Mobeen took 4 while Adnan and Imran took 2 wickets each. Nizamabad got the target in 13 overs. Mujahid hammered 84, Noman assisted with 21. Mubashar took 3 wickets.
Deer Stars lost to Riyadh Blues by 21 runs. Riyadh Blues collected 254 for 6 wickets. Shakeel scored 90 and Abu Sufiyan hammered 88. Aziz and Zia bagged 2 wickets each. Deer was restricted to 233. Fifties from Maaz 75 and Aziz 60 proved futile. Fayyaz and Shakeel picked up 2 wickets each.
Riyadh Blues thumped Pak Riderz by 69 runs in their second outing. Blues accumulated 196 for 6 wickets. Shakeel 47 and Omer 43 played vital knocks. Parvez claimed 3 and Farhan bagged 2 wickets. Riderz got all out for just 127 runs in reply. Ali topscored with 21. Shakeel clinched 3 while Javed and Nasser grabbed 2 wickets each.
Hayer League: Royce Blue registered a win over Challengers XI by 3 wickets. Challengers were bowled out for just 137. Hariman fought with his 38. Ashik Kottilingal was simply unplayable as he picked up 7 wickets for just 31 runs. Karthik also got 2 wickets. Royce won the match in 17.4 overs. Fahad played a match-winning knock of 77. Nouman and Mudasir took 2 wickets each.
AKCC triumphed over PTI Tigers by 7 runs. AKCC scored 186 losing 6 wickets. Nadeem smacked 82 and Zaheer nicked 43. Waseem and Rehman snared 2 wickets each. PTI Tigers got 179 in reply. Noor hit 47, Naveed added 30. Sheraz picked up 3, Zaheer claimed 2 wickets.
Ashes defeated TBCC by 8 runs. Ashes piled up 184 for 6 wickets. Vineet and Hassan scored 43 and 42 runs respectively. Hakeem grabbed 2 wickets. TBCC were restricted to 176 runs in reply. Faisal played a stylish knock of 68 and Karthik scored 63. Hussain got 2 wickets.
Dana Trading won against Abaseen by 8 wickets. Abaseen posted 139 for 9. Nihmatullah topscored with 32, Sami nicked 29. Zainul grabbed 4 wickets while Waqar got 2 wickets. Dana Trading scored the runs in 14.4 overs. Shahzad led the inning with his 61 and Riyas batted well for his 56.
Green Bangla humbled Battagram Zalmi by 32 runs. Bangla scored 212 for 5 wickets. Anower smashed 88 and Nur hit 41. Battagram was restricted to 180 runs in reply. Naeem hammered 72 and Zia Ullah stroked 32. Anower picked up 4 while Riyaz claimed 3 wickets.
