Pakistanis can get MRPs extended

JEDDAH — Consulate General of Pakistan has started extending machine readable passports (MRPs) manually to help Pakistani nationals who have applied for renewal of their passports but whose delivery has been delayed. They can now get extension of their MRPs manually for one year.
The consulate said the move was aimed at ensuring the welfare of Pakistanis who need their passports for travel and completing official procedures in Saudi Arabia.
