Deadline for Pak MRPs extended

The Pakistani authorities have extended the deadline for nationals living in Saudi Arabia to obtain machine readable passports (MRPs) until 2015, the Pakistani Consulate said in a press statement Tuesday.
The statement said manual passports will be valid up to that year. However, the consulate advised Pakistani residents holding manual passports to obtain MRPs as soon as possible to avoid any inconvenience in the future.
