Published in The Saudi Gazette on 12 - 03 - 2019

Najm for Insurance Services is participating as a strategic partner at the ongoing Traffic Safety Conference being held here at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel.
The Traffic Safety Conference is held under the patronage of Prince Abdulaziz Bin Saud Bin Naif, Minister of Interior. Driven by its strategy to enhance traffic safety, decrease accidents and increase compliance with laws and regulations, Najm is participating in this event, which provides an excellent opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience with relevant stakeholders.
As the Kingdom moves forward in its journey towards digital transformation, a key pillar of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, such events are considered the typical platform for Najm to showcase its latest trends and technologies.
The digital services provided by Najm are in line with the National Transformation program 2020's targets aimed at enhancing digital services and empowering the national economy by raising the efficiency of production sectors and the national companies via an advanced digital system, which ties in closely with the economic goals laid out under Vision 2030.
"Najm›s interest in sponsoring the Traffic Safety Conference stems from its commitment to support initiatives that promote traffic safety culture and urge the compliance with traffic laws and regulations", said Ms. Maha Al-Shunaifi, director of corporate communication and marketing at Najm.
Al-Shunaifi added that the topics to be discussed during the conference would convey the latest technologies and methods adopted to achieve traffic safety and fulfill the objectives of Vision 2030 in providing the best means of safe driving with the lowest accident rates.
The conference discusses series of topics presented by local and international speakers and specialists, most notably on modern techniques applied to control and manage smart traffic, the utilization of artificial intelligence in traffic analysis, the role of urban activity model planning in traffic, the promotion of traffic safety concepts through traffic awareness programs and events, and showcasing international case studies highlighting the reduction of the number of traffic-related deaths. — SG
