Jeddah Zalmi, Bonny and Hyderabad Sharks prevail

JEDDAH — Jeddah Zalmi, Bonny and Hyderabad Sharks triumphed with convincing wins over CH XI, Ace Travel and Malik XI, respectively, while Faisal (3 for 26 including a hat trick), Saeed (5 for 28), Saddam (64 not out), Yasir (64) and Usman Butt (31 runs and 3 for 29) were the star performers of the 5th week matches of Bonny Super League sponsored by Bonny and organized by Jeddah Cricket Association (JCA).
An accurate spell of bowling by Saeed (5 for 28), supported by splendid batting from Gowher 66 (38 balls, 4x6, 6x3) and Taqi 60 (37 balls, 4x9) enabled Jeddah Zalmi eliminate CH XI by 85 runs, despite Faisal's fine spell of 3 for 26 with a hat trick.
Consistent batting from prolific Saddam 64 not out (25 balls 4x4, 6x4) and Yasir 64 (39 balls, 4x9, 6x1) enabled Hyderabad Sharks clinch a 49-run win over Malik XI, despite fighting knocks by Mohsin (55) and Waqas (54 not out).
A fine all-round display by Usman Butt (31 runs and 3 for 29) saw Bonny narrowly beat Ace Travels by 4 runs, despite Hasnain's brilliant 79.
Scores:
Jeddah Zalmi beat CH XI by 85 runs.

Bonny beat Ace Travels by 4 runs. Bonny 186 for 6 (Usman Khan 52, Usman Butt 31, Ateeq 2 for 25, Moazzam 2 for 52). Ace Travel 182 for 7 (Hasnain 79, Moazzam 20, Usman 3 for 29, Umer 2 for 31). Man of Match: Usman Butt of Bonny.
Hyderabad Sharks beat Malik XI by 49 runs.
Hyderabad Sharks 231 for 4 (Saddam 64 not out, Yasir 64, Osman 3 for 23). Malik XI 182 for 7 (Mohsin 55, Waqas 54 not out, Shahid 2 for 20, Shehrose 2 for 31). Man of Match: Saddam of Hyderabad Sharks.
