Pak Zalmi, CH XI, Al Burj, Malik XI, enter JCA Summer semis

CH XI, Pak Zalmi, Al Burj and Malik XI scored contrasting wins over their respective opponents in the quarterfinals of the Summer League, sponsored and organized by Jeddah Cricket Association.
Al Burj surprised favorites Hyderabad Sharks with an exciting 5 run win, Malik XI grounded Shawahid Tech by 17 runs, Pak Zalmi thrashed Butt Sports by 4 wickets while CH XI had the better of Royal Juaran by 79 runs. In the semis Al Burj lock horns with Pak Zalmi while CH XI take on mighty Malik XI.
Al Burj pulled off an exciting win beating Hyderabad Sharks by 5 runs thanks to Khalid's all-round display (44 runs & 2 for 23) and Waqas (41).
Brilliant all-round display by Aamir Walha (42 runs and 3 for 26) gave Malik XI a 17 run win over Shawahid, despite Shad (3 for 26) and Shafeeq (3 for 20) ending in vain.
Fine all-round show by Saeed (71NO, 2 for 30) and good support from Taqi (54) gave Pak Zalmi a 7 wicket win over Butt Sports, despite Abdul Rehman (53) and Junaid (54NO) efforts going in vain.
Superb batting by Farman (99) and Nasir Bajwa (58) and accurate bowling by Zafar (2 for 4) and Tariq (2 for 18) gave CH XI a 79 run win over Royal Jurana.
Al Burj beat Hyderabad Sharks by 5 Runs
Al Burj 166 for 7 16 overs — Waqas 41, Khalid 44, Shehroze 2 for 22, Hasam 2 for 28. Hyderabad Sharks 161 for 7 16 overs — Mansoor 48, Yasir 27 Khalid 2 for 23.
Malik XI beat Shawahid by 17 Runs
Malik XI 141 for 8 14 overs — Aamir 42, Fida 24, Shad 3 for 26, Shafeeq 3 for 20. Shawahid 124 all out — Shan 40, Bilal 28, Aamir 3 for 26, Usman 2 for 15.
Pak Zalmi beat Butt Sports by 7 Wickets
Butt Sports 211 for 6 16 overs — Tauseef 53, Junaid 54NO, Saeed 2 for 30. Pak Zalmi 214 for 3 12 overs — Saeed 71NO, Taqi 54.
CH XI beat Royal Jurana by 79 Runs
CH XI 211 for 4 16 overs — Farman 99, Nasir 58. Royal Jurana 132 for 9 16 overs — Shoaib 33, Rauf 32, Tariq 2 for 18, Zafar 2 for 4. — SG
