Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama oversaw on Wednesday the signing of two agreements and a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the governments of Saudi Arabia and Albania, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said. A memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the field of tourism was co-signed by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage (SCTH) Ahmed Bin Aqeel Al-Khatib and Albanian Ambassador Sami Shiba. An agreement for avoiding dual taxation and preventing tax evasion with respect to taxes on income and capital was co-signed by the Minister of Finance Muhammad Al-Jadaan and Albanian Minister of Economy and Finance Anila Denaj. An agreement for cooperation in the field of air services was co-signed by the Minister of Transport and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) Dr. Nabil Bin Muhammad Al-Amoudi and Albanian Ambassador Shiba. The signing ceremony was attended by Prince Faisal Bin Bandar, emir of Riyadh Region; and Prince Dr. Mansour Bin Miteb, minister of state, Cabinet member and adviser at the royal court, among others. Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama later received at his residence separately here today Prince Badr Bin Abdullah Bin Farhan, minister of culture; Minister of State and Cabinet Member Dr. Musaed Bin Muhammad Al-Aiban; and Supervisor of the Public Investment Fund (PIF) Yasir Bin Othman Al-Rumayyan. They discussed means of enhancing bilateral relations in various fields. Earlier, King Salman received Albanian Prime Minister Rama and hosted a luncheon in his honor. They then held official talks, during which they discussed means of enhancing bilateral cooperation in various fields and reviewed the latest developments in the region. – SPA
