The Consulate General of Brunei organized a reception at the InterContinental Hotel in Jeddah on Tuesday to mark the country's 29th National Day. Mohammad Nabil Bukhari, director of protocol at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Makkah province branch, was the chief guest at the event. Government officials, diplomats from various countries along with their families and members of the Brunei community attended the event, which started with the playing of the national anthems of Brunei Darussalam and Saudi Arabia.
