Sri Lanka Night fell on the festival's 6th day and was held at the premises of the Sri Lankan Consulate General. The documentary “The Grand Pageant of Asia” showed a cultural event celebrated annually in Kandy, Sri Lanka, while the feature film “Arumosam Wehi” had a narrative of life in the country's remote areas in the past. Members of the ACGC, distinguished guests and Sri Lankan community constituents were present at the screening. Consul General of Sri Lanka Dr. Adambawa Uthumalebbe thanked all the participants, especially other ACGC member countries including Bangladesh, Brunei Darussalam, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Pakistan, the Philippines, Thailand and Singapore for their cooperation. The Consul General also highlighted the excellent relationship between the Kingdom and Sri Lanka in the tourism and trade sectors. Dr. Uthumalebbe also urged guests to visit Sri Lanka as it is one of Asia's tourist hubs dubbed the Pearl of the Indian Ocean, known for its natural beauty and multi-cultural, multi-racial background.
