‘Next Generation SUV' Nissan Pathfinder rolls out in Mideast
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 23 - 02 - 2013

Nissan Middle East recently launched the all-new Nissan Pathfinder to define what the next generation SUV should offer: dynamic design, class-leading comfort, thoughtful technology, and a rewarding driving experience.
“All-new Nissan Pathfinder defines the ‘Next generation SUV' with a modern balance of off-road capabilities with on-road refinement,” said Atsuo Kosaka, Managing Director, Nissan Middle East. “With unmatched technologies and features, the new Pathfinder delivers the ‘innovation that excites' to meet the needs of today's modern families.”
“Our goal for all-new Pathfinder is not only to be the best in class but also to move the whole SUV segment forward into the future,” he added.
Refined new drivetrain featuring a 3.5-liter DOHC, V6 engine, mated to a next-Generation Xtronic CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission), help provide a 30 percent improvement in fuel economy versus previous generation.
On the move, acceleration improved by 13 percent faster.
The instrument panel includes Advanced Drive-Assist Display (standard on every model) features a 4.0-inch LCD color display, and utilizes 3D-effect graphics to relay key information right in front of the driver. The instrument panel includes a large multifunction center IT display, available Nissan Navigation System, Streaming Audio via Bluetooth and Rear View Monitor.
Introduced more than a quarter of a century ago, Nissan Pathfinder set the bar high for the generations that followed. Each successive Pathfinder design has remained true to that original premise while evolving to meet the changing needs of its owners.
Now, with the introduction of the all-new fourth generation, not only does Pathfinder provide capability with spacious seating for seven, and an intuitive 4 Wheel Drive System, but it also resets the standard for the segment with an unprecedented level of premium style, comfort, fuel economy and thoughtful technology.
The all-new Pathfinder is now available across the Middle East with a manufacturer's suggested retail price range of $29,750 to $46,000. – SG
