Alhamrani United Company, dealer of Infiniti cars in Saudi Arabia, unveiled the second generation of the completely new luxury SUV Infiniti car model QX56Auto on Tuesday. The new car is now available at Infiniti showrooms across the Kingdom. The launch of the new car in Saudi Arabia coincides with the delivery of first batch of cars to customers who booked the cars prior to their arrival to Saudi Arabia, a testament of the success of Alhamrani new marketing strategy, which was launched recently and mainly features on test-driving the car before buying it. On this occasion, Hesham Elmogy, general manager of Nissan Infiniti Gulf and Saudi Arabia, said the second generation of Infiniti QX “posted success beyond expectations as a result of the strict implementations of these plans.” Test-driving the car “aims to practically persuade the client of the many high features of the car before buying it,” he said, adding that “we have noticed that many clients bought their cars through this campaign.” “The 2011 Infiniti QX gives us an incredible presence in full-size luxury SUV segment and is perfect for buyers seeking style, comfort, roominess and driving exhilaration,” he added. The QX offers a full range of available innovative technology, including Blind Spot Warning and the advanced Hydraulic Body Motion Control system (HBMC). It starts with a breathtaking presence, a calm strength derived of clean fluid lines that attract and hold one's attention. It continues with the highest level of luxury, not just for the driver and front seat passenger, but all occupants - world class, personalized control over their environments for passengers in every seat in the house. The powerful yet efficient V8 engine design and Hydraulic Body Motion Control system add an exceptional driving experience, he pointed out. Further highlighting the new features of the car, he said the intuitive functionality, which anticipates and responds to the users' needs and desires makes the car simply awesome. The new Infiniti QX will be offered in two specifications in Middle Eastern markets and with full-time 4WD as standard. The QX comes in either “Excellence” or higher specification “Luxury” grade with each grade having the option of either seven seats (with 2nd row captain's chairs), or eight seater format (with a second row bench seat). All models are scheduled to go on sale at Infiniti retailers in the Middle East from August 2010. The second-generation Infiniti QX has been totally redesigned from the platform up. Its new high-stiffness frame structure enhances ride comfort while reducing noise, vibration and harshness. The new 5.6-liter V8 engine combines the responsive acceleration of Infiniti's VVEL (Variable Valve Event & Lift) technology with the efficiency of Direct Injection Gasoline (DIG) and a 7-speed automatic transmission. With a class-leading 400hp and 57.1 kg-m of torque, the QX records impressive outputs but also returns a 12 percent better fuel economy than the previous generation QX (measured on US EPA Combined test cycle). Inside the distinctive QX body is an interior long on luxury, including standard Infiniti Hard Drive Navigation System, Around View Monitor and Bose 2-channel, 13-speaker Premium Audio System, and available perforated semi-aniline leather seating and dual rear 7-inch color monitors as part of a multimedia system which allows different sources to be played at the same time. The 2011 QX also offers ample first and second row roominess with second row bench-style or 2 individual captain's chair-style seating, as well as generous luggage space. The 2011 Infiniti QX is unquestionably a head turner, attracting the viewers' attention which conveys its underlying sense of power and strength. The design is dynamic. Its size is capable of transporting up to eight adults and their belongings with spacious elegance. The bold front chrome grille is flanked by automatic on/off bi-functional xenon headlights with windshield wiper interlock and integrated front fog lights.
