Saeed Khan, Akbar, Afroz crack centuries in ACE Travel Cup

JEDDAH — Kanoo Travel beat Zinda Tilismat by 86 runs, ICC Irfan Basha defeated JPCC by 61 runs, Tamer beat Deccan Knights by 11 runs and Kanoo beat ACE Travels by 7 wickets in the seventh week matches of the JCA Premier League for ACE Travel Cup which is organized by the Jeddah Cricket Association (JCA) and sponsored by ACE Travels & Tours here.
Akbar of Kanoo Travel hammered a stylish 159 against Zinda Tilismat-XI. Kanoo Travel, batting first, piled up 276-2 and restricted Zinda Tilismat to 190. Akbar hammered 159 off 71 balls with 11 sixes and 16 fours. Ibrahim made 79 (9x4 and 2x6). Openers scored 258 runs. Shadab claimed 2-55.
In reply, Zinda Tilismat managed 190. Javed and Irfan were bowled by Shahid in the first over. Zinda Tilismat could not recover from these heavy blows. Urooj also left without scoring. Yaqoob made 28 (5x4) and Saeed blasted 101 off 49 balls (10x4 and 5x6) and Sarfaraz hit 25 (3x4 and 1x6). Shahid took 4-25, Akbar 2-33, Mehmood 2-30 and Haroon 2-42.
ICC Irfan Basha defeated JPCC by 61 runs. The winner batted first and made 193 through Raheel 66 (9x4) off 37 balls, Sadek 50 (4x4 and 2x6) off 23 balls and Kashan 22. Kaleem claimed 2-34, while Rashid and Rafi got one wicket apiece. JPCC was bowled out for 132. Saleem 10, Khurram 16 and Rashid 13 were the main scorers. Nabeel grabbed 3-23 and Sadiq 2-12.
Tamer beat Deccan Knights by 11 runs. Tamer, batting first, piled up 256-7. Afroz slammed 114 (10x6, 9x4), Sajjad 35 off 25 balls, Ashfaq 30 (4x4, 1x6), Waseem 28 and Naveed 34 n.o (2x4, 2x6). Afroz took 2-49, Ahmad 2-46 and Inayath 1-31.
For Deccan Knights Mazhar made 31 (6x4), Athar 69 (9x4, 3x6), Inayath 53 (6x4, 2x6) and Imran 34 (2x6, 3x4). Deccan Knights tallied 245-7. Afroz claimed 3-33, Waseem 2-51, while Naveed, Khalid and Ashfaq claimed one wicket each.
Kanoo beat ACE Travels by 7 wickets. ACE Travel was bundled out for 109. Ayaz 21 and Baba Amoudi 23 were the main scorers. Najam claimed 3-17, while Tabrez and Sami got 2 wickets each. Mansoor and Rashid took one wicket each. Kanoo made the required runs in 11 overs for the loss of 3 wickets. Tabrez hit 45 off 29 balls (3x4, 3x6) and Rashid 16 (2x6). Muhammad claimed 1-26 and Aleem 1-13.
